I like Hard Rock casino behind River Spirit.casino, but both are nice. Hard Rock has a hotel, but we have not stayed in it.Get your money before you arrive as the atm is $3.00 per transaction. We also receive free buffet coupons each month. We receive rewards play coupons each month - the more you play, the more they give you. The casino and the parking seem quite safe to me and I have never witnessed any disturbance during a visit. There is a sports/center in the casino and a bar somewhat closed off from the casino that has live entertainment on some evenings. There is also an Italian place, a Toby Keith's, and a McGill's steakhouse (haven't eaten at either one). Friday and Saturday evening (4-10 PM) is Seafood night. The Wild Potato (Wild Potato is one of the seven clans of the Cherokees) buffet is pretty good, but there is normally a long line for the evening meal. There are several drink stations where you can help yourself to soda, coffee and tea. There are at least 2000 machines, roullette, poker and blackjack. The slot machines are newer and of a better variety than those we have seen in casinos in KC, St.
My wife and I normally play the slot machines. We have visited many casinos (though not Vegas or Atlantic City yet), and quite frankly, I prefer Hard Rock over those in other states. My wife and I live in the Tulsa area and we frequent the Hard Rock (Cherokee) Casino operated by the Cherokee Nation.
